To direct and supervise staff and service departments, two deputies to the Chief Executive Officer are established in the organization plan of the Audit Organization, namely, Technical Deputy and Management Enhancement Deputy.
Technical Deputy is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating standards setting, quality control, training and research activities and technical and professional surveys. Following Department are supervised by this deputy:
Quality Control Department to review critically the audit files as to the quality of audits performed.
Standards Setting Department is responsible for establishing suitable task forces for preparation of exposure drafts for each specific accounting and auditing standard.
Research and Training Department, composed of professionals and academics, both full and part time, has the responsibility of accounting and auditing research and publication. Publication of various accounting, auditing and related matters text books are of its Centre for Professional Accounting and Auditing Studies function.
On-the-job training of the Organization's professionals and training courses for client financial managers and accountants are also programmed and execute by this department. This department has the role of secretary to the Training Committee as well.
Technical Services Department with it's experienced professionals, reviews and analyses specific client accounting and auditing problems and advises them as to the best practice through Technical Committee. This Department has the role of secretary to the Technical Committee as well.
Management Enhancement Deputy is responsible for implementing suitable and adequate support systems, directing and coordinating administrative, financial and accounting activities, program planning, budgeting and control. This Deputy is also responsible for providing and coordinating supporting activities to the professional and technical departments. This Deputy supervises Administration Department, Accounting Department and Administrative Renovation Department.
